BlackPink – “Where’s the ring?” Lisa’s Response

BLACKPINK members often interact with fans via live streaming on social media. The most recent interaction was in November of this year, and the only members were lisa and jisoo. They spoke to their fan community via Weverse. The live exchange went on for a while, culminating in one of the winkers proposing to Lisa. Even more interesting was member Lisa’s witty reply. During the live broadcast, the first person to notice the remark was jisoo, who couldn’t help herself and didn’t mention it. The BLACKPINK member, who also starred in the South Korean drama Snowdrops, read the comment aloud to Lisa.

“Lisa, marry me,” Jisoo said with a hearty laugh. She also rested her head on Lisa’s shoulder and continued to smirk. While this isn’t the first time fans have proposed to their favorite idol, some have laughed it off and many others have tended to ignore the comments. But Lisa, who is known for her witty responses and comebacks, immediately addressed her fans and shocked most of the Internet with her answer. Hearing her bandmates reinforce the remark, she quickly raised her hand to the screen and asked, “Where’s the ring?”

Her epic response quickly went viral on social media, dividing fans. During the livestream, many people made hilarious comments. Some say they have already taken a knee, others say their next concert, the entire stadium will bring a ring instead of a glow stick.
