In 2020, Dior’s sales growth during the COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea was also attributed to its marketing campaign with K-pop singers including Jisoo. She appeared alongside other high-profile influencers such as Chiara Ferragni and Kat Graham in a promotion for Dior’s new Bobby bag. At the brand’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection presentation, Jisoo gained attention as Korea’s representative. Her presence at the show earned Dior its highest score since the Fall 2020 show, with an average MIV of 33%. In March 2021, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri revealed that Dior’s Autumn/Winter 2021 collection was inspired by Jisoo. It was revealed that one of the ten shades of Dior Addict Lip Glow, #025 Seoul Scarlet, was inspired by Korean women such as Jisoo.
